Such a fun and engaging book! There are holes where Nibbles the monster ate through pages. There are 3 mini storybooks inside where Nibbles goes and changes the story of some classic fairy tales. If you love it, there are multiple sequels!
2. All Better!
Top notch reusable sticker book. I can personally attest to the quality and durability as this book has been everywhere (the car, outside, on the floor...). We even lost one of the stickers for a week & it perfectly stuck on the pages! The story is absolutely adorable as you put Band-Aids on animals where they got hurt. You help make them all better! When you are done, all the Band-Aids can be returned to the first page to play again later.
This is a creative book! A little boy asks his father for a bedtime story and comes up with some very imaginative ways to improve the story! Kept us engaged from the first page! Now there is a sequel we can't wait to read!
4. Cuddle Bear
Cuddle Bear is adorable. His mission is to cuddle and care for other animals. This was highly recommended by my friend Abby and I am so glad she introduced me to it. Such a great book to talk about empathy with children.
Family favorite here! Not only is this a very silly book about poop, but it is very informative. There are tons of flaps where you can learn about where poop goes (to the sewer and treatment plant), what poop is used for and the different kinds of animal poop. My almost 3 year old takes it with him to the potty every day! It is a great present for a little one getting ready to potty train!
We love I'm a Dirty Dinosaur and it's sequel I'm a Hungry Dinosaur. We had a hard time picking a favorite. This is a cute sing-songy rhyming book about a dinosaur whose mission is to get every part of his body dirty so that he can take a bath (and get dirty again). It flows off the tongue so nicely. It is a house favorite!
Every little person needs a touchy-feely books. It was hard to pick a favorite from the That's Not My Series. They are all adorable with different sensory feels on each page.
My oldest loves art and projects. But he often asks me for help to ensure drawings and pictures come out "perfect." This book helped him learn how to draw simple things like a person, a pirate ship, an astronaut, and many animals with confidence. The instructions are chunked well and my 5 year old needed minimal help. I had fun drawing along side him.
9. Lifesize
This book creates wonder! First off, it is huge! You get to see the actual size of polar bear's paw, an elephant's toenail or a bee humming bird. We had some great discussions regarding size and comparisons after opening this book.
Thank you Brandi for showing me this wipe clean card set! This is a must have boredom buster for kids! There are cards stating to draw silly monster faces, spot the match, count hidden objects, and play word games. There are 50 cards and 1 dry erase marker in the box. We use this in the car, to restaurants, and around the house. It provides great creativity and entertainment without a screen.
Hidden picture books are a big hit here. This is one of our combined volumes with many pages of items to spot. It keeps my kids occupied for a decent amount of time!
Phonics books are awesome for new readers. My almost 6 year old has learned almost all his phonics sounds and is just starting to read these books. It is so exciting to see him develop into an independent reader. This silly collection has fun rhymes and silly stories as new readers learn to read and pronounce words! The pictures are super fun and vibrant as well.
Wipe clean books are tons of fun. The reusability makes them move beloved! This combined volume is perfect for preschoolers and kindergartners to practice writing letters and numbers.
This story is a great conversation starter about other people's perspectives. There are two stories in this book; one is about a girl that rescues a beast (a squirrel) and another about the squirrel who is captured by a beast (the girl). It perfectly shows that there are two very different points of view for the same tale!
These two books are the perfect starter chapter book for young readers. Billie and Jack are good friends who go on fun adventures. These are the perfect "big kid" books to build confidence!
I recently discovered this book. Such a fun and fast read. The sloth starts introducing his book, in typical slow sloth style. Quick fox jumps in to steal the story! The two of them hilariously go back and forth claiming to the official hero of the book! This book will capture the attention of any child!
Shine A Light books are so unique! I've never seen anything quite like them. You place a flashlight behind the page and hidden images appear! They are fun and informative. Pairs perfectly with a flashlight for a present.
Look Inside books are so neat. Kids can learn fun facts about the earth in a super interactive format. The pages will wow your kids! It is a great book to look at together.
Look Inside books are so much fun that I couldn't pick just one! We love trucks and cars in this house. This is a fantastic book to learn about all vehicles that move! The pages are big and exciting. So much fun for little kids and inquiring minds!
Wipe clean cards are so much fun. I love to write and play on them just as much as my kids do! These are best for children who can read as there are games and puzzles to complete! I met someone who donated these to a nursing home and the residents loved them. These cards are great way to pass the time while out on the town or sitting at home!
